Now I think that main mistake was to use a tiny modern quartz on this band. Anyway, neutralization solved this problem completely.

73! de UU1CCAndy Nechaevsky UR3WAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01755913517953854868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3100269194622617523.post-78151768205225298612011-07-25T00:24:27.924+00:002011-07-25T00:24:27.924+00:00Great work, Andy. A question: What's the performance difference with and without neutralization? Neutralizing a Boosted Pierce final is something I've considered for some time in the hope of cutting down reaction from final plate tuning and decreasing the RF level at the crystal.

Best regards,

Dave
amateur radio W9VES
http://mysite.verizon.net/dpnewkirk/ej/David Newkirkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01881478550092617259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3100269194622617523.post-43148665723081419162011-07-17T05:13:52.924+00:002011-07-17T05:13:52.924+00:00It's so pleasure to read it, Chas! But it does have the "retro" look.
Your "passive differential keying" circuit works like a charm.
TNX es &#
Chas W9SAY
SKCC 1158TAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3100269194622617523.post-10239784612107669102011-01-02T19:46:01.041+00:002011-01-02T19:46:01.041+00:00Very very nice!
